About the Original
Created over the course of three months, SARDINES was constructed entirely by hand using over 120,000 glass seed beads, with 95% sourced from antique and vintage collections. Collaborating with Castle Custom Framing in LA, the frame was whittled to resemble an old-school twist-key sardine can. The rarity of its materials and labor-intensive process makes it truly one of a kind. The original can never be replicated but the limited edition print allows one to own a part of its story.
